GlomCon Hawaii 2026 Travel Scholarship
The GlomCon Travel Scholarship is designed to support meeting attendees from low- to middle-income countries by providing financial assistance for travel and accommodation to attend GlomCon Hawaii 2026, taking place August 3-7, 2026 at Hyatt Regency, Maui.
Eligibility Criteria
To be considered for a travel scholarship, applicants must meet the following criteria:

Be a current or past GlomCon Fellow, GlomCon ILA Fellow, KPCP participant, or CEPR participant.

Reside and work in a low- or middle-income country as defined by the World Bank.

Demonstrate a strong interest in glomerular disease research, education, or clinical practice.

Commit to attending the full duration of the conference.
Scholarship Benefits
Each selected recipient will receive:

Reimbursement for an economy-class round-trip flight to Maui, Hawaii.

Coverage for up to 4 nights in the designated conference hotel (Hyatt Regency, Maui)
Application Process
There are two ways to apply. Please choose one:

The selection committee will review applications based on merit, impact, and financial need.

Up to six (6) scholarships will be awarded.

The deadline to apply is Friday, May 15, 2026.
Reimbursement Process

Scholarship recipients must book their own economy-class flight, then submit receipts for reimbursement after the conference.

GlomCon will work with scholarship recipients to secure a hotel room. Any stay beyond 4 nights will be the responsibility of the traveler.

Reimbursement will be processed upon completion of attendance and participation requirements.
